Dr. JD Verwey is a highly skilled and experienced general practitioner who has dedicated his life to providing exceptional medical care to his patients. His vast array of skills, from patient consultations to performing surgeries like tonsillectomies and cesarean sections, administering anesthesia, providing casualty care, doing ward rounds, and lifting his patients' spirits, make him a true asset to the medical community.

JD's passion for sports began at Vanderbijl High School, where he excelled academically and in sports. He was not only an accomplished cricket player but also had a talent for making any sport enjoyable for everyone. His love of sports has continued throughout his life, and he enjoys playing sports and exploring new places with his wife and kids. After completing his medical degree at the University of the Free State, JD worked in Grootfontein, Namibia, where he delivered babies who are now young adults. He has a diverse range of patients, with a significant number seeking antenatal care. JD has an unwavering fascination with the formation and development of every baby during pregnancy and loves to accompany expecting parents on their journey of antenatal care.

JD's dedication to providing compassionate and exceptional care for his patients is matched only by his love for his family. His favorite holiday spot is wherever his wife and kids are, and he enjoys exploring other countries with his wife, Anri.
